On November 27, 2024, Rep. Horsford expressed gratitude for participating in a Thanksgiving luncheon at the MLK Senior Center. He stated, "I was grateful for the chance to serve meals & spend time with the wonderful seniors at the MLK Senior Center’s Thanksgiving Luncheon today." He further mentioned his appreciation for opportunities to connect and celebrate with the community.

Later that day, Horsford visited Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada and assisted with serving meals to individuals with disabilities and their families. In a tweet from November 27, he noted, "Today, I visited @CathCharitiesNV & helped serve those with disabilities & their families at the community lunch." Additionally, he toured their grocery store and automated assembly line designed to enhance production for Meals on Wheels.

In another event on November 27, Rep. Horsford attended Blessed Giving alongside Minister Stretch and Commissioner McCurdy. He tweeted about this occasion stating, "I was honored to attend the 3rd annual Blessed Giving with Minister Stretch & @CommishMcCurdy." Over 300 families were provided meals during this event as part of a community effort.
