Rep. Steven Horsford, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Nevada's 4th district, has recently shared his thoughts on various political issues through a series of tweets. Horsford, who has been serving in Congress since 2019 and previously served in the Nevada Senate, is actively engaging with his constituents on social media platforms.
On March 6, 2025, Rep. Horsford addressed former President Trump's first Joint Address since returning to office. He announced a virtual town hall to discuss his thoughts and invited public feedback by saying: "Trump just gave his first Joint Address since returning to office—let’s talk about it. I’m hosting a virtual town hall to share my thoughts, and I want to hear from YOU."
Later that day, Horsford expressed concerns over Social Security benefits for residents in Nevada's 4th district. He criticized Elon Musk's stance on these benefits and vowed to protect them: "140,000 people in NV-04 rely on Social Security—benefits they’ve worked for and paid into their entire lives. Now, Elon Musk thinks he can take them away? He’s dead wrong."
On March 7, 2025, Rep. Horsford announced his return to Nevada after a week in Washington D.C., inviting constituents to join him for a State of the District town hall meeting alongside Assemblymember Daniele Monroe-Moreno and moderator Michelle Maese: "After a long week in D.C., I’m coming home. Pull up a seat and join me for a State of the District town hall."
