Rep. Steven Horsford, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Nevada’s 4th district, has recently shared updates on various initiatives through a series of tweets. Horsford, who has been in office since 2019 after replacing Ruben Kihuen, continues to focus on infrastructure improvements and healthcare affordability for Nevada residents.

On November 16, 2024, Rep. Horsford celebrated the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that allocated $12.5 billion to Nevada for projects such as Brightline West and solar energy initiatives. He emphasized the law's impact on job creation and infrastructure enhancement in the state: "Today, I’m celebrating the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that has brought $12.5 billion to Nevada for important projects like Brightline West & solar energy."

In another tweet dated November 19, 2024, Rep. Horsford reminded Nevadans about the open enrollment deadline for Affordable Care Act (ACA) coverage, highlighting efforts to make healthcare more affordable: "OPEN ENROLLMENT DEADLINE: Thanks to our efforts to lower health care costs for Nevada families, ACA coverage is more affordable than ever for Nevadans." He urged citizens to enroll by January 15th and provided a link for further information.

On the same day, Rep. Horsford congratulated the Nevada Department of Public Safety on receiving a substantial grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance aimed at enhancing public safety across the state: "Congrats to the Nevada Department of Public Safety on receiving a $2,043,556 grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance!" He offered assistance to organizations seeking federal support and included a link with additional details.
