Clark County School District recently issued the following announcement.
GREEN OUR PLANET’S GIANT STUDENT FARMERS MARKET SET FOR FRIDAY, APRIL 22
In partnership with Green Our Planet and sponsored by Bank of America, the Giant Student Farmers Market event will be on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Downtown Summerlin.
Billed as the largest student market in the U.S., the event will feature more than 500 students from 50+ schools in Southern Nevada, students run the market themselves, selling school-grown fruits, herbs, veggies, and crafts to the public. Contributions are then reinvested back into the school’s garden programs.
