The two young boys who investigators said were abducted by their father from Prince, Utah which triggered an Amber Alert have been found safe in Nevada and were reunited with family after their dad was taken into police custody.

Derek Rowley, the father of the two boys, told investigators where they could find Manson Rowley, 8, and Arsen Magnum, 6, after he was arrested on Aug. 21, according to KSL News Radio.

"Amber Alert canceled, missing boys for Prince found in Elko, Nevada," Twitter user AK tweeted Aug. 21.

Derek Rowley was taken into custody in Carbon County, Utah where he's also faced criminal charges, KSL News Radio reported. Rowley was legally not allowed to contact the boys and during the kidnapping he threatened to harm himself and the children.

Investigators said the boys were taken by their father in Utah earlier in the week, but were found safe in the early morning hours of Aug. 21 in Elko County, Nevada, the Las Vegas Review Journal reported.

According to a post on the Elko County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, law enforcement received information Rowley was in the area and was located on U.S. 93 near HD Summit.  He was arrested on a kidnapping warrant.
