Rep. Steven Horsford, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Nevada's 4th district, has been vocal on social media regarding recent political developments. On March 5, 2025, he shared his concerns through a series of tweets about actions taken by the current administration.

In a tweet posted on March 5, 2025, Rep. Horsford remarked on what he perceives as a concerning trend of executive overreach: "Day 27: Continued to issue a barrage of executive orders, exhibiting a desire for unrestrained power and challenging constitutional norms. Eroded the rule of law by pardoning individuals involved in political violence, indicating supporters may act with impunity."

Continuing his critique the same day, Horsford tweeted about the challenges faced by opposition parties: "Day 28: Overwhelmed opposition with the volume and pace of actions, making it difficult for critics to respond effectively. Challenged parts of the Constitution restraining presidential power, reflecting an alarming shift toward autocratic rule." This tweet was posted at two different times but carried identical content.
