Rep. Steven Horsford, a U.S. Congress member representing Nevada’s 4th district, has been active on social media sharing updates and opinions on recent political developments. His tweets reflect his engagements in Washington D.C., as well as his critique of former President Donald Trump's actions since returning to office.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Horsford tweeted about welcoming Yolanda, a member of the Culinary Workers Union Local 226, to Washington D.C. for the State of the Union address. He stated: "It’s an honor to welcome @culinary226 member Yolanda, a hardworking tipped worker, to Washington, D.C., as my official guest for the State of the Union. Her story represents so many like her, and I’m grateful to have her here."

Later that day, he posted another tweet addressing former President Donald Trump’s recent return to office. He noted: "It has been 47 days since Trump has been back in office. On day 1 he promised to lower costs for the American people. But here's a thread of everything Trump has done instead." This tweet served as an introduction to a series detailing actions taken by Trump.

Continuing his thread on March 5th, Rep. Horsford detailed specific actions by Trump since resuming office: "Day 1: Pardoned 1,500+ convicted Jan 6 rioters Withdrew from Paris Climate Agreement  Withdrew from WHO  Preparing to investigate prosecutors who charged him"
