He warned that this action could negatively impact Nevada by raising costs for essential services like housing and healthcare while also harming vulnerable groups such as children and seniors. Additionally, he highlighted potential funding blocks for teachers, first responders, mental health services, and homeless veterans in Nevada where federal funding constituted a significant portion of state revenue in 2022.
