Rep. Steven Horsford, a U.S. Congress member representing Nevada's 4th district, has shared his views on several issues through recent tweets. Horsford, who succeeded Ruben Kihuen in 2019 and previously served in the Nevada Senate from 2009 to 2013, is an advocate for workers' rights and healthcare.

On February 19, 2025, Rep. Horsford expressed support for union workers in Washington D.C. and Las Vegas who have benefited from raises and improved healthcare coverage. He highlighted the efforts of workers at Starr restaurants such as St. Anselm, Pastis, and Le Diplomate joining the union family: "1000s of @unitehere & @culinary226 workers have changed their lives with raises & healthcare in DC and Las Vegas. Excited for Starr restaurant workers at St. Anselm, Pastis and Le Diplomate to join the @UHlocal25 family."

Later that day, he criticized a budget proposal led by Republicans under former President Trump that proposed significant cuts to Medicaid while increasing the national deficit by $4.5 trillion: "Republicans, led by Trump, just dropped a ‘screw America’ budget—slashing Medicaid while adding $4.5T to the deficit." According to Horsford, these cuts would adversely affect nursing homes, community health centers, and care services for pregnant women and newborns.

In another tweet on February 20, 2025, Rep. Horsford addressed concerns about healthcare coverage for seniors at the Walker River Paiute Tribe Senior Center due to proposed Republican Medicaid cuts: "Seniors at the Walker River Paiute Tribe Senior Center shouldn’t have to worry about losing healthcare." He urged constituents to share how these potential changes might impact them.
