National Honors for WNC, Project Management BAS

Western Nevada College recently issued the following announcement.

Western Nevada College has received national recognition from University Headquarters for its overall affordability and the low cost of its Bachelor of Applied Science Organization and Project Management program.

University Headquarters, an independent educational organization, provides data and information that help students pursuing a higher education make informed choices.

WNC has been rated No. 15 in the Top 50 for Cheapest Colleges to attend in 2022. University Headquarters also ranked WNC No. 2 in Nevada in this same category.

“Western Nevada College is far more affordable than most public schools in the U.S. The college offers a number of scholarships and grants to help reduce the overall cost of education,” University Headquarters wrote about WNC.

In addition, University Headquarters included WNC in its Top 100 of Most Affordable Project Management colleges, ranking Western 16th.

WNC began offering this bachelor degree focused on leadership skills in 2020. The program is accessible to students throughout the country since it’s offered completely online. 

This highly specialized degree provides students with the skills to organize and motivate teams of professionals.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics recently reported that project management grads earn a median salary of $77,000.

Previously, Bachelor Degree Center ranked WNC’s Organization and Project Management online program No. 20 in the country, applauding it for helping students build leadership skills and gain knowledge of project management terminology and duties.
