Van Marcke’s Ace Hardware will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Nevada lost 28 soldiers in the Korean war and 84 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 2115 Civic Center Dr, North Las Vegas will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Karen J. Wagner Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Van Marcke’s Ace Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Van Marcke’s Ace Hardware is located at 2115 Civic Center Dr, North Las Vegas, Nevada. This location is owned by Caroline Van Marcke and represented by Ian DeHart.
