On April 8, 2025, Horsford announced his intention to host a virtual town hall meeting, sharing his frustrations with perceived obstruction by Republicans. He called on his constituents to partake in the discussion, saying "Nevadans deserve action, not obstruction. While Republicans continue to tear down systems we rely on, I’m hosting a virtual town hall to hear directly from you." The session was scheduled for the following day on Zoom.
In another update on the same day, Horsford expressed gratitude for the insights he gained over the weekend from interactions with residents of NV-04. Later, Horsford indicated his participation in a Health Subcommittee hearing, highlighting legislative progress in healthcare reforms. He outlined several achievements, such as capping insulin costs and out-of-pocket expenses for seniors, through a post stating "Just left Our Health Subcommittee hearing, where we discussed the progress we’ve made: Capping insulin at $35/month Capping out-of-pocket costs for seniors at $2,000/year Working to lower healthcare costs across the board."
