Roseman University of Health Sciences recently issued the following announcement on August 24.
COLLEGE OF NURSING
Today we’re sitting down with Morgan Bolin, a recent hire at Roseman.
Bolin joined Roseman University’s South Jordan campus as a College of Nursing Clinical Faculty member in early June.
“I came to Roseman seeking an opportunity to help develop the next generation of nurses. I firmly believe that we are products of our environment and those that molded us. My goal is to positively impact every student I come in contact with and inspire as many people to seek an area of nursing that they love, and can be successful in.”
She is originally from Texas and Louisiana but has lived in Utah for 4 years. Bolin brings a wealth of education and medical experience to the Roseman family.
“My background is in emergency medicine and critical care, but I also have 3 years of masters-level education in family medicine,” Bolin shared. “I have primarily worked as an agency nurse and have worked in every hospital system across the state of Utah as a contractor.”
She describes herself as a fun-loving, hard-working mentor and friend, and believes life is too short to be anything but happy in every way. Bolin loves to skin, mountain bike, run, sing “too loudly,” cook, and travel. She’d really like to grow a pepper garden and keep it alive!
“My special talent is licking my elbow, even though it is supposed to be impossible,” she says.
Bolin is passionate about life in general and thinks every day brings with it a new opportunity for adventure, friendship, love, and happiness. She participated in an Ironman competition and has competed at the Crossfit Games regionals. She says she has an “undercover love for all things sports and fitness.”
“My favorite quote is ‘Do small things with great love’ by Mother Theresa. This quote is how I try and live my day-to-day.”
Bolin finds inspiration from her grandfather, who was a trauma surgeon in the Louisiana swamps.
“He spent his whole career taking care of the sick and those in need,” she shared. “He inspired me to follow this carer path that has brought me so much satisfaction!”
If she ever needs cheering up, pass her some chocolate or slide a bowl of chips and dip her way.
Thank you Morgan Bolin for sharing! We look forward to the many contributions you will impart to Roseman University students, faculty, and staff.
