Rep. Steven Horsford, who represents Nevada’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on his recent community engagements and public health advocacy through a series of posts on social media.

On March 10, 2026, Horsford recognized National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day by emphasizing prevention and access to care: “Today is National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, a reminder of the importance of prevention, testing, and access to care. By expanding education, supporting public health programs, and ensuring women and girls have access to the resources they need, we can continue”.
Steven Horsford has represented Nevada’s 4th District in Congress since replacing Ruben Kihuen in 2019. He previously served in the Nevada Senate from 2009 to 2013. Born in Las Vegas in 1973 and currently residing there at age 49, Horsford graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a BA in 2014.
