Steven Horsford was born in Las Vegas in 1973 and currently resides there; he graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2014 with a BA degree. Before joining Congress in 2019 after replacing Ruben Kihuen as representative for Nevada’s 4th District (source), Horsford served in the Nevada Senate from 2009 to 2013.
