Rep. Steven Horsford, who represents Nevada’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on November 19, 2025, addressing national and local issues including health care policy, food prices, and government spending.
In his first post at 2:40 a.m., Horsford highlighted a recent discussion with journalist April D. Ryan: “Had a great conversation with @AprilDRyan this morning about the #RepublicanShutdown, attacks on affordable health care & SNAP, and the Epstein vote happening today. Grateful to the @thegrio’s D.C. Bureau Chief for the dialogue.”
Shortly after, at 3:03 a.m., Horsford commented on U.S. financial aid to Argentina and promoted his legislative proposal: “Trump is sending up to $40 billion to Argentina. I want to give it back to the American people. My bill, the H.E.A.L.T.H. (Helping Every American Lower Their Healthcare) Act, uses those funds to extend #ACA health care tax credits and lower premiums for millions of Americans.”
At 3:05 a.m., he addressed rising grocery costs in Nevada ahead of Thanksgiving: “Nevadans are paying more at the grocery store, and Thanksgiving is no exception. Turkey prices are creeping up from inflation and the #TrumpTariffs. Throw a bird-flu outbreak into the mix, and the result is higher prices hitting every Nevada family this holiday season. #Tariffs”
Steven Horsford has represented Nevada’s 4th District in Congress since 2019 after previously serving in the Nevada Senate from 2009 to 2013. Born in Las Vegas in 1973, he continues to reside there today and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno.
