On February 14, 2025, Rep. Horsford expressed gratitude towards Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford for participating in a town hall meeting focused on protecting personal information from unelected billionaires. In his tweet, he stated: “Thanks to @nevadaAG Ford for joining last night’s #NV04 town hall. AG Ford is leading the legal fight to keep unelected billionaires from accessing your information and running government services into the ground.”

Later that day, Rep. Horsford announced a collaborative effort with Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and Representative Mark Amodei concerning the Mining Regulatory Clarity Act. He emphasized its importance for Nevada’s job protection and America’s economic future: “I’m proud to partner with @SenCortezMasto and @MarkAmodeiNV2 on the Mining Regulatory Clarity Act. This is about protecting NV jobs and securing America’s economic future.”

Additionally, Rep. Horsford commemorated Frederick Douglass’ legacy by quoting him in a tweet posted on February 14, 2025: “‘Without a struggle, there can be no progress.’ – Frederick Douglass Born in February 1818, Douglass escaped slavery to become one of America’s greatest abolitionists, writers, and social justice advocates. He chose to celebrate his birthday on Feb.14.”
