Rep. Steven Horsford, representing Nevada’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, has been vocal on several key issues through his recent tweets. Horsford, who has served since 2019 and previously held a position in the Nevada Senate from 2009 to 2013, expressed concerns over proposed legislative changes and highlighted significant political events.

On March 10, 2025, Rep. Horsford addressed potential impacts of a Republican bill on Medicaid beneficiaries in Nevada. He stated that “In the republicans’ ‘Screw America Bill’ Nevada would be the 3rd most impacted state, with 811,000 Nevadans relying on Medicaid.” He emphasized that these cuts could affect seniors, people with disabilities, and families dependent on life-saving care.

Later that day, he tweeted about standing at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) to support Gwynne Wilcox’s return after an attempt by former President Trump to remove her from her position. Horsford noted “Today, I stood at @NLRB to welcome back Gwynne Wilcox… Workers deserve champions like Member Wilcox…” highlighting bipartisan efforts against this removal attempt.

On March 13, 2025, Rep. Horsford shared his stance on a Republican funding bill by stating “I voted NO on the Republican rip-off funding bill because veterans, housing and healthcare matter to me…” He indicated his willingness to collaborate across party lines for legislation prioritizing public welfare over wealthier interests.
