In recognition of National American Red Cross Founders’ Day, Horsford acknowledged the contributions of volunteers and first responders in Nevada and beyond. Horsford has represented Nevada’s 4th District since replacing Ruben Kihuen in Congress in 2019. Prior to his current role in Congress, he served in the Nevada Senate from 2009 to 2013. Born in Las Vegas in 1973 and currently residing there at age 49, Horsford earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2014.
