Rep. Steven Horsford, who represents Nevada’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, addressed several issues in a series of posts on November 19, 2025. His tweets highlighted support for entrepreneurs, concerns about job losses and economic messaging from the administration, and ongoing debates over federal policies.
In his first post of the day, Horsford marked National Entrepreneurs’ Day by recognizing local business leaders: “On National Entrepreneurs’ Day, we celebrate the risk-takers and problem-solvers who turn ideas into impact. Nevada’s entrepreneurs are building stronger communities, creating jobs, and shaping the future. Keep going, we’re cheering you on every step of the way. #EntrepreneursDay” (November 19, 2025).
Later that afternoon, he shared details of a recent media appearance: “Had a great conversation with @AprilDRyan about the #RepublicanShutdown, attacks on affordable health care & SNAP, and the Epstein vote that happened yesterday.” (November 19, 2025).
Addressing national economic conditions in another tweet posted shortly after, Horsford commented on statements from federal officials: “#ThatAwkwardMoment when the Treasury Secretary says “jobs are booming,” despite the worst month for layoffs in 20+ years. 150,000 Americans would rather have their jobs back than have to listen to this administration spin lie after lie. #NV04 #WorkersMatter #EconomicRelief” (November 19, 2025).
Steven Horsford has served as representative for Nevada’s 4th District since replacing Ruben Kihuen in 2019. He previously held office in the Nevada Senate from 2009 to 2013 and earned his BA from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2014. Born and residing in Las Vegas since his birth in 1973 at age forty-nine, Horsford has focused much of his public communication on local economic development and national policy debates.
