Rep. Steven Horsford, who represents Nevada’s 4th congressional district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on October 1, 2025, addressing issues of remembrance, healthcare access, and constituent engagement.
In his first post on October 1 at 18:07 UTC, Horsford reflected on the anniversary of the Las Vegas mass shooting: “8 years later, we remember the 60 lives lost and the countless others forever changed by the Oct 1 tragedy. Las Vegas showed the world what resilience looks like, and today, we honor the victims, survivors, and first responders who embody the spirit of what #Vegasstrong means.”
Later that evening at 20:12 UTC, he turned attention to rural healthcare concerns in Nevada: “In Nevada, many rural hospitals are on the brink—this ugly law could devastate access to care in communities that already struggle. We must ensure no hospital is left behind. #RuralHealth #HealthEquity”
At 20:18 UTC on October 1st, Horsford encouraged public participation and feedback through another message: “Let’s talk about it.
