Rep. Steven Horsford, who represents Nevada’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, highlighted recent sports achievements by Las Vegas teams and athletes on his social media accounts over the weekend.

From a 111–58 blowout loss on Aug. 2 to a 9-game win streak in just 20 days. A’ja Wilson is playing like the MVP she is, and Vegas is back in the title hunt. #ALLINLV” (August 23, 2025).
Later that day, he offered encouragement to a local youth baseball team competing at a national event: “Wishing the Summerlin South Little League squad all the best today as they take the field in the U.S. Championship game at the LLWS! Bring that Las Vegas spirit, keep swinging for the fences—and go get ’em! #LLWS #SummerlinSouth
