Rep. Steven Horsford, who represents Nevada’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, marked several events and milestones in a series of recent social media posts.
On September 16, 2025, Rep. Horsford acknowledged the start of Hispanic Heritage Month by posting: “As we celebrate the start of Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the generations of Hispanic Americans who have shaped our communities, powered our neighborhoods, and grown small businesses across the country.

Later that day, on September 16, he highlighted a constituent service involving military records retrieval: “A constituent came to us after years of trying to get Army medical records from his service in Germany (1979-1981) to support his VA claim. After months of work, our team secured his full records, helping him finally move forward. #NV04 #Veterans https://t.co/yRZX0iQHFK”.
On September 17, Rep. Horsford commemorated Constitution Day with another post: “On #ConstiutionDay, we honor the document that built our democracy and protects our freedoms.

Steven Horsford has represented Nevada’s 4th District since 2019 after replacing Ruben Kihuen. He previously served in the Nevada Senate from 2009 to 2013 and holds a BA from the University of Nevada, Reno (FACTS 1–4). Born in Las Vegas in 1973 and currently residing there, Horsford frequently references both national observances and local issues in his public communications.
