Rep. Steven Horsford, who represents Nevada’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media platform over the weekend to update constituents on available government services, travel disruptions due to a federal shutdown, and local sports achievements.
On October 10, 2025, Horsford posted about constituent services, stating: “As your representative in Congress, my priority is to serve you. If you’re facing challenges with a federal agency or need help navigating government services, my office is here to help. We can assist with: Veterans’ benefits Social Security & Medicare Immigration”.
Later that evening, he addressed ongoing travel concerns linked to a government shutdown and its impact on air travel. On October 10, he wrote: “In this long weekend where heavy travel is expected flights are already suffering due to the shutdown -if this drags on, delays and cancellations will only get worse. Before heading to the airport, check your flight status via the airline app or FAA site If your flight is”.
The following morning on October 11, Horsford congratulated the Las Vegas Aces for their recent accomplishments: “Way to go, @LVAces! 3 championships in 4 years and another MVP title for A’ja Wilson. Excellence in action. We’re so proud! #RaiseTheStakes Aces VS Everybody!”
