Rep. Steven Horsford, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Nevada’s 4th district, shared several updates on social media concerning his recent activities and views on governmental actions. Horsford, who has been a congressional representative since 2019 after replacing Ruben Kihuen, took to Twitter to express his opinions and report on his office’s community engagements.

On February 10, 2025, Rep. Horsford emphasized the importance of public engagement amidst significant political developments. He stated: “Your voice matters—now more than ever. After 300+ Executive Orders, an attempted freeze on federal funding, and an illegal data breach exposing millions, the best way for me to fight for you is to hear from you.” He encouraged constituents to share their stories through a provided link.

The following day, February 11, 2025, he commented on the role of judicial oversight in government operations: “Checks & balances matter. Less than a month in, executive actions keep getting blocked. From birthright citizenship to funding freezes, the courts are holding the line.” This tweet highlighted ongoing legal challenges against certain executive measures.

Later that same day, Rep. Horsford detailed a collaborative effort with the Mexican Consulate at a Monthly Health Fair aimed at providing services to constituents and addressing community concerns: “Today, my office collaborated with the Mexican Consulate at their Monthly Health Fair, to provide constituent services and hear community concerns.” The event offered various health services including medical consultations and vaccinations.
